The new £12 million ($18.8 million) 11,000 all-seater b2net Stadium is built on the old Dema Glass site. The main West Stand is designed to feature all the club’s facilities and players’ accommodation. Four multi-functional restaurants are located on the first floor.

Supplied by Swiss producer of eco-friendly sanitaryware Franke Sissons, whose manufacturing plant lies within half a mile of the stadium, the stadium’s public and disabled person’s washrooms feature eco-friendly fixtures. The bathrooms are equipped with stainless steel washtroughs, WCs, urinals and accessories for toilet paper, soap and paper towel dispensing, all with the latest self closing water control technology, saving water on a huge scale.

The players’ dressing rooms feature wall-mounted showerheads and controls as well as urinals and washbasins in stainless steel. Franke Sissons’ electronic taps and upmarket Stratos soap and paper towel dispensers have been installed at the corporate and VIP areas of the stadium.

Permanent water consumption savings in the new stadium are achieved in two ways. Self closing technology employed throughout the washrooms ensure taps are never left running; and flush water for the urinals is provided from cisterns that only operate when the facility is being used. Urinal cisterns and related delivery pipework are concealed, helping to ensure that the facilities will withstand the intensive use that can be expected in a sports stadium environment.

Washtroughs and toilets within the stadium are complemented by stainless steel accessories such as grab rails, paper towel dispensers and toilet roll holders and disabled visitors are benefited with the modern Franke-designed disabled washroom facilities.

The designer of the stadium local firm WMA was heavily involved in the design of Twickenham and the proposed Everton stadium.
