The facility employs a host of green eco-friendly measures. It has been fitted with a green roof which filters rain water. The roof is covered with sedum which is a drought-resistant perennial groundcover. It offers insulation to the facility, repels heat, reaps energy costs cuts, and is more durable compared to a traditional roof.

The flooring incorporated in the facility is rubber-based which negates need of waxing, stripping or finishing. The floors also upgrade quality of indoor air owing to its PVC and chlorine-free quality. Indoor air quality of the building is further enhanced with use of low-VOC carpet, paint, adhesives and composite woods. Installation of HEPA filters throughout improves air quality for immuno-compromised and other high-risk patients.

Further, 84.6% of wood materials used in the property are FSC-certified whereas the construction equipment is operated on biodiesel fuel. Diverting 12,300 tonnes of on-site generated construction debris from landfills adds to the sustainability.
