Hamilton Jewelers has commissioned Callison to reinterpret its brand presentation through a new store concept.

The new design will display a departure from traditional jewelry stores focusing on creating a residential environment. This homely environment will be created based on merchandising concepts rather than a singular, open space. The store will be designed to be luxurious besides being approachable. The main design objective is to evoke Hamilton’s renowned service while creating a new paradigm for the customer experience. The first store spanning 4,000 square feet will be opened in Palm Beach Gardens in Florida in late 2010.

UK-based retail jeweler Mappin & Webb has commissioned Callison to evolve new retail design concept.

Callison’s new concept work, created in conjunction with the Aurum Management team – parent company to both Watches of Switzerland and Mappin & Webb – will feature a residential environment blending an updated, classic sensibility with contemporary moments. As silversmith to Her Majesty the Queen of England, Mappin & Webb’s new store will showcase luxurious materials including polished walnut, raked limestone, custom styled resins and hand-painted wall coverings. The design will be launched in mid-2011 in Manchester with an additional store to follow in Cambridge.

Callison has also announced that it will continue its project work with existing client Watches of Switzerland.

Callison also recently completed a renovation for Cartier at the Americana Manhasset, New York as well as award-winning work for London Jewelers, also at the Americana.
