The chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1957, draws reference to the clean lines of the 50s and 60s era. It is made of wood and features organic contours. The back and seat of the piece sport a curvy shape. The firm has now offered a contemporary twist on the original design with incorporation of new shades from the original Wegner palette. The hues include white, grey, pale blue, orange and black. The 1950s design in pure wood versions will be restored.
