The company said that 80% of the 4,000 square meter project – 18 of the 19 floors – at the hospital is completed. Each floor takes up 600 square meters of space.
International medical companies, doctors and specialists were consulted regarding the features to be installed in the clinic. Intensive studies led to integrating features like sound-proof walls, disinfectants, environment-friendly paint, etc.
Latest medical facilities were incorporated by Al Mazaya, who visited London and US to attain knowledge about facilities not available in Kuwait. The knowledge was then implemented in pathology clinics, where diseases are identified and diagnosed at an early stage, and the diabetics clinic.
Receiving rental submissions for the clinics and for other facilities in the project, such as the X-ray center, the pharmacy and the boutique clinic, the company is reviewing the applications in cooperation with Delta Med Co., a firm offering specialized consultancy services to the healthcare sector.
The clinic will showcase multi-sized specialized clinics, an X-ray center, a pharmacy, and a boutique clinic, which will provide services for aesthetic medicine and maintain separate entryways for visitors.
The boutique clinic services will spread across an additional seven -story facility adjoining the main building, with each floor featuring 130 square meters of space.
It will also include medical laboratories, an x-ray center, a physical therapy center, a specialized pharmacy located on the ground floor, and a basement with capacity to hold 200 cars.
