Refurbishments will include a Pixie Dust Trail, Princess castle, Cars Ridemakerz and Disney Store Theatre as well as a Disney Store. The store will feature a blue Pixie Dust Trail which will guide customers from the store’s front portion through the characters featured on both the sides.
There will be the Disney Princess section comprising a princess castle with a Magic Mirror. Children can get glimpses of a princess with the wave of their wand in the magic mirror. The area will also depict short film clips of various fairy tale princesses including Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana.
Cars Ridemakerz is another feature of the revamped store. This section will help children assemble their cars using a wide array of tools available in the section like rims, side pipes, hoods scoops, blown engines and spoilers.
The end of the Pixie Dust Trail will feature the Disney Store Theatre which is a large video library comprising Disney film trailers, film clips, music videos, classic animation and various other amenities. Customers will be allowed to view over 50 clips on a 12-foot curved screen in this section. The theatre will also facilitate family activities including Disney character-drawing workshops, storytelling experiences and trivia events. The store is due to reopen in September 2011.
