The renovation project will transform two hostels – 25 Parker Street in Covent Garden and 41-43 Holmes Road in Kentish Town. It will offer residential units and bed spaces, health, education and training facilities for homeless people across the Borough.

Upon completion of the transformation, the 25 Parker Street in Covent Garden will feature 40 private and three affordable residential units on site with further affordable provision off site. By retaining the façade, the project will redevelop the rear to provide a new six-storey building and basement.

Apart from that the transformation scheme also includes the redevelopment of another of the Council’s hostels at 41-43 Holmes Road, Kentish Town. It includes the provision of 59 new bed spaces, health, education and training facilities for homeless people in a part refurbishment and part new build scheme.
