The facility, located on a 11 acre-area, spans over a total area of 96,000 square feet. It features 20 emergency beds, 36 in-patient beds, as well as correctional facilities for inmate patients. Hence, it employs a host of security measures such as a separate secure entryway. There is also a secure passageway comprising two doors out of which one can be opened at any time.
The prison care wing has been equipped with 64 cameras. All the rooms of the wing incorporate mesh in walls, ceilings measuring ten feet in height, prison-style sinks and toilets, cameras and pass-throughs for food. The windows are high screened. The facility also comprises an independent ventilation unit, and a central command area enabling security staff to control doors and monitor cameras.
