The design plan is complete, with the work on the new roof already started. The new facilities, which will be added as part of the renovation includes, modern fitness gym in the main building; junior fitness gym; new cafe/bar; viewing gallery to the two swimming pools; light, open and welcoming foyer and reception; toning studio with chairs and beds; therapy areas; aerobic and dance studios; golf and mini golf; and street hockey facilities. The new junior gym will feature ZigZag Xer-Dance platforms and resistance and CV equipment.

The renovation project is funded by loans from Charity Bank and Big Issue Invest and supported by Alliance Leisure. UK-based Cosmur is the building contractor for the project. The project is slated for mid-September completion.

As a charitable trust, the center offers teaching, tuition, training, competition and fun to over 26,000 people each month. The center’s facilities for healthy recreation, competition, or leisurely entertainment are open to everyone in the community.
