The eight-storey landmark 1928 hotel building will reveal the new-look of its rooms for the first time in April 2011. Hospitality designer Pierre Yves-Rochon will redesign the 245-room hotel’s rooms and implement the upgrades.

The renovation will focus on 12 main areas, which include development of a new eighth-floor honeymoon suit featuring five terraces doubling the size of the mirrors in the bathrooms, addition of in-mirror TVs, rewiring works, mini-bar repositioning, coffee-machine installation, and redesigning the closet space. The honeymoon suit will open on 1 June 2011.

The hotel will also offer additional amenities in all the rooms such as clock radio, hypo-allergenic pillows, refrigerated private bar, wired or wireless Internet access and fax machines.
