The overhaul of the existing restaurant and bar is expected to boost the dining attractions of the hotel. The renovation plan tries to retain the charm and grand spaces of the classic hotel while updating the restaurant and room experience to impart a contemporary and state of the art experience.

The large, all suite guest rooms features new 45-and 37-inch flat screen televisions, wireless, high speed internet access. In addition the revamp would see new bed linen and mattresses being installed in every room.

The current custom designed, plush, multi level patterned carpet will be replaced with all hallway carpet, totaling nearly 1-1/2 acres.

The main floor will see marked changes with the front desk getting relocated within the spacious atrium lobby, an entertainment space being created in the area north to the current lobby that can be used for social gatherings, wedding ceremonies and business meetings.

The lobby area will see the classic terrace environment getting a modern edge with sculptural landscape pieces and sophisticated furnishings. The hotel will also have a penthouse suite and a three bedroom suite for guest stays and special functions.

The Hotel’s general manager Carl Dees said, Weddings and other social functions will play a major role in our hotel. Our goal is to become the place to entertain and hold social events that offers distinctive Atlantan hospitality and style.
