Natural materials like warm timber and locally-sourced stone as well conventional patterns with a modern take serve as the predominant design features of the hotel which is the first Starwood hotel in the country.

The lobby area of the hotel sports a sunflower which is reminiscent of the fertile lands of Ukraine. The look is complemented by a chandelier which is an abstraction of the motif. The luminaire dons glass balls in golden as well as clear shades. The flooring of the lobby is in cream marble. The facility incorporates a pair of staircases along the curved shell of the lobby. The staircases feature illuminated steps formed of marble.

The reception desk of the hotel dons a sleek style featuring blue and yellow tones. The desk consists of backlit frosted panels and a gilded woven screen replicating the compact florets in a large sunflower blossom. The same colour palette also adorns other public zones of the facility including the cushions on the tawny leather sofas and lounge chairs equipped in the library, wine bar and café.

The hotel houses the Flavors restaurant which evokes a natural undertone with incorporation of light and dark walnut timber. The entrance door made of frosted glass and the marble inlay in the oak planks which form the circulation spaces don the sunflower shape. Fresh celadon green cushions, flaxen wallcovering, pendant lighting fixtures, and contemporary artwork of folklore figures accentuates the look.

The guest rooms of the facility feature warm oak timber finishes, and a conventional Cossack pattern in the modern diamond designed carpet. The bathrooms have been fitted with tiles in blue mosaic glass. The hotel’s Presidential Suite is a small house within a bridge located between its two main buildings. The suite imbibes white marble and rich timber floors, small cream porcelain tiles on the mirrors, and the spacious in-room spa with a freestanding tub. The space also features a chaise longue which offers glimpses of the Dnieper River and the encompassing city.
