The renovated spacious lobby has luxurious seating and relaxation areas adorned with rich mahogany furniture, silk curtains and specially designed moorish lamps. It is encompassed with airy VIP rooms and a lobby lounge.

Redecoration of the lobby was undertaken by Leo Design Co., Ltd., an interior architecture firm. The focus of the renovation was to enhance the hotel, its elegance and luxury keeping in view the color schemes and style added by the makeover in 2007. More makeovers to the public areas are expected to occur during 2009.

Ulrich Eckhardt, managing director of the Kempinski Hotel Ajman said, “In response to the ever evolving needs of the market, the hotel’s refurbishment programme aims to provide more modern and luxurious surroundings for its guests. As the region has increased in popularity, and the standard of luxury and leisure travel has expanded, we took the opportunity to renovate the hotel in response to our guests’ expectations and travel needs.”
