Knox Hills is a partnership between the U.S. Army and Actus Lend Lease. Actus Lend Lease, a leader in public-private community development and a partner with the US Army under the Military Privatization Housing Initiative (MPHI), recently completed work and finalized inspections on 46 new homes.

During construction, an emphasis was placed on finding sustainable products that were priced relative to other building materials in order to achieve LEED requirements, while making only small adjustments to the overall planned budget.

The LEED-H program evaluates energy efficiency in water use and overall performance. Prior to this project, only four homes in the U.S. Army housing inventory earned a gold rating; two homes in Kentucky were certified in the LEED-H program.

Knox Hills aimed at creating vibrant master planned communities for active military families. These homes feature spacious and inviting floor plans that encourage family togetherness and are suitable for entertaining. The homes are situated within areas surrounded by parks, golf courses, schools, shopping and outdoor playground/activity areas. Each of the communities offer its own unique Community Center staffed by Knox Hills associates and offer fun and educational activities and events.

Actus Lend Lease, part of the Lend Lease Investment Management business, is a subsidiary of the Lend Lease global family, which includes Lend Lease Retail & Communities, Bovis Lend Lease, and Delfin Lend Lease.
