The project has refurbished all the 343 guestrooms and corridors of the hotel with installation of contemporary lighting fixtures, and sleek furnishings. The décor of the refurbished facility has been styled by Dawson Design Associates who is the original interior designer of the hotel. The new décor dons bold shades with its look drawing reference to the significance of its location and the city’s political landscape.
The renovated guestrooms sport a subdued style donning indigo blue, gray, tan, and red tones. The look is complemented by accents in brushed stainless steel. They have also been equipped with flat screen TVs, iHome docks, modern furnishings, upgraded Affinia bedding, and refurbished washrooms following the makeover. The rooms now offer Wi-Fi access.
Further, the hotel’s hallways have been adorned in new carpeting, wall decor and lighting systems post overhaul.
