Moscow-based Project Meganom has designed the seven-story retail store. The shop is wrapped in travertine marble and features large atrium spaces which cut through the retail levels to fifth floor market space and rooftop café. The rooftop café has been mounted on the top of the building.
A steel frame suspended from the concrete shell of the building will support 2,300 square meters of reflective, textured stainless-steel panels by the German manufacturer EXYD, reflecting the bustle of the market into the rest of the shop.
Spread across an area of 50, 000 square feet, the shop provides three floors of food, retail and restaurant space. It is due for completion in October 2010.
