The renovation will be carried out in three phases. Phase I involves upgrades to the lower bowl bowl of the facility. Phase II of the project, due for mid-2012, will include overhaul of its upper bowl.
The facility will be equipped with a new entry, a pair of spectator bridges above the arena with a seating capacity of 500, as well as fan deck with a capacity to house 10,000 as part of the final phase facelift. Phase III will commence in mid-2013.
The revamp work will lead to creation of 167 suites in the arena which will include 20 event-level suites with a capacity to house a maximum of 12. There will also be 58 new Madison Suites created almost 23 rows up from the floor post refurbishments. The Madisson suites will don similar design as the lower suites. All the suites will be equipped with a kitchen featuring granite countertops, dining room, bar, and restrooms.
