11 employees, of various ages, from Kier Western’s Bristol Office successfully completed a 150 mile coastal ride across Northern France – from Cherbourg to St Malo – in July. Following the success of last year’s event, this time they added a further 30 miles of arduous terrain to the 3-day ride.
On completion of the demanding challenge, the team were delighted with the £5,000 raised, from personal sponsorship and donations from construction partners. The funds are to be divided between the cancer charities: the Teenage Cancer Trust and B.U.S.T.
Steve Price, Mapei Building Products Manager added, “this was a great opportunity to contribute towards a worthy cause and our congratulations go out to the Kier team for completing the task.”
