The new Dr. Breus Bed, the first mattress designed by a sleep specialist, will be launched at the upcoming High Point Market in IB’s International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) in North Carolina.
Breus has designed the bed using cutting edge science and the expertise of Eric Johnson, IB’s senior vice president of marketing and merchandising. The Dr. Breus Bed features IB’s proprietary Vertical Support System design and a newly developed component called TempSense. TempSense is a combination of natural and sustainable ‘phase-change materials’ that create a temperature-regulating microclimate for optimal sleep. Talalay latex is also used for the bed.
The bed will feature proper support, comfort and temperature regulation so that the user gets a total sleep environment that facilitates a healthier night’s sleep.
Michael J. Breus, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He specializes in helping people overcome what is called ‘disordered sleep’, which can usually be fixed with modifications of environment and behavior.
