The three-storey facility has replaced the Southeast Baptist Hospital which closed on 16 June 2011. It features 110 private patient rooms spanning over an area of 220,000 square feet. The facility also has enough room to expand to up to six floors and 300 beds in the future.

All the patient rooms of the hospital will incorporate materials and finishes which will reduce noise transfer. The rooms are designed so as to optimise passage of natural light as well as provide glimpses of the surroundings. There is also an extra area in the room to house the families of patients staying overnight. In addition, the patients will be provided with on-demand movies in their rooms along with room service food based on their prescribed diet.

The facility imbibes various green features such as use of recycled building materials, energy-efficient lighting and water systems, a recycling programme and six electric car plug ins. The hallways and the waiting areas of the hospital enable maximum passage of natural light. In addition, the facility is equipped with a smart phone technology SnapWalk, which will guide visitors in finding their way around the facility.
