Mitsubishi Electric’s commercial (RX5) and residential (DC) Lossnay systems now qualify under new definitions of the product criteria due to their Hypercore – a specially-designed, paper heat exchanger at the core of the Lossnay system. The heat exchanger allows the transfer of heat energy and enables to surpass the minimum performance criteria required to list the product on the ECA scheme.
The Lossnay system reduces overall energy costs by removing stale air, and then recovers its heating or cooling energy to warm or cool incoming fresh air. Small pores in the Hypercore have been further reduced in size in the latest models to avoid unwanted odors from gases such as ammonia and hydrogen and also aid the transfer of moisture for improved energy efficiency.
The ECA qualifies the plant and machinery, enabling a business to claim the complete capital allowance on its investment.
