The builder has collaborated with architect Tony Lewandowski to build the house which is the first LEED home in the region. It incorporates a farmhouse-style design.

The facility imbibes a host of eco-friendly elements. It includes installation of custom triple pane windows, along with use of natural and renewable products. The facility has been equipped with an Energy Recovery Ventilation system. The ventilation system maintains the quality of indoor air by recycling air from outside. The house also incorporates more insulation to allow less air inside.

Installation of solar panels adds to the sustainability of the property. Other green features of the house include extensive use of green materials like poplar flooring, as well as manufacture of the building materials within 500 miles of the site.
