Construction of the emergency department of the new Memorial Hospital cost an estimated $24 million. Graebel Office and Residential Moving was enrolled to oversee the equipment movement from the previous facility to the new facility on 1454 N. County Road 2050.
About $3 million has been spent to integrate new equipments and furnishings within the facility. The latest equipments include a new CT scanner, a couple of new digital X-ray machines, and a new mammography machine.
The facility features spacious operating suites, two full suites, and an endoscopy room. Private patient’s rooms have been designed to offer comfort and complete privacy to the patients and their families. Landscaping has not yet been completed owing to the wet atmosphere.
