The $1.45 million clubhouse and tennis courts addition at the North Bossier Tennis Center is designed by Mike McSwain Architect. The new clubhouse features meeting rooms, washrooms, a wraparound patio viewing area and other amenities. A small pro-shop is also featured.
Six new tennis courts are added, bringing the center’s total court count to 18, including 12 clay courts. The city has built these facilities in conjunction with the Bossier Parish Police Jury and the Bossier Parish School Board. The additions were under planning for more than a year.
Mike McSwain Architect has redesigned the original proposal for a two-story clubhouse. They have made it a one-story scheme, which looked more attractive than the previous plan. The new facilities offer tennis accoutrements for local residents. It is also suitable to host tennis tournaments for professional circuit players.
