Oak Hill & the Martha Berry Museum is an all-America Selections Display Garden, on the register of Historic sites, and an AAA Star Attraction. The 1972-opened house and history museum recently received new painting, carpentry work and new floors and is open to the public.

John Winnenberg of Elements of Construction Inc. served as the general contractor, Shinall-McCleod Painting was responsible for all the paint work and Rhonda Holdbrooks oversaw the interior design. The design and remodeling team worked in collaboration with museum’s curator Rebecca Henry in creating the new layout, deciding on placements of new exhibits and the way in which Martha Berry’s belongings would be displayed.

Oak Hill located on a 170-acre estate is the Greek revival home of Martha Berry, founder of Berry College. This Victorian –style farm house was built in 1847. Martha Berry Museum was constructed as a small portion of Oak Hill in 1972.
