SUNRAYS full displacement superyacht sports a distinguishing teal-colored hull, flared bow and a curvy aluminum superstructure created by British design firm Bjorn Johansson Design. Bjorn Johansson conceived the mega yacht superstructure based on his unique Mirage concept. The yacht is built on the proven technical Oceanco Y700 platform.

The interior design has been done by Terence Disdale Design based in UK. All exterior decks have been designed to include water features, which blend with the curved superstructure. Built-in features such as table tops are concealed in the ceiling. The interior of the yacht features multi-functionality. The main deck holds a VIP cabin and four guest cabins linked to each other. The spacious dining room can be converted into a video conference room with the optional use of the adjacent library.

The SUNRAYS is equipped with twin 3,492kW MTU 16V 595 TE 70 engines and has been engineered to achieve a maximum speed of 20 knots.

SUNRAYS is the result of a collaborative team effort among Oceanco, the designers, and Burgess, who provided the technical supervision for the owner.

The award was presented on 28 October 2010, the first night of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), at the 20th Anniversary ISS Awards Gala.
