The new restaurant is housed in a space previously occupied by seafood restaurant Great Bay. The entire space has been re-invented with an open, airy, and illuminated feel. The restaurant features a large clapboard sliding baffles that provides shade to the huge windows. These baffles complement the blue-gray sun-bleached colour of the wooden tables, evoking the dune-houses of the Cape and the islands.

A notable element, around which the entire restaurant revolves, is the oyster bar which features a rotating selection of at least a dozen varieties from both coasts.

Described as a ‘high-energy oyster bar and seafood restaurant’, Island Creek Oyster Bar showcases the products of Island Creek’s farmers. The project is a collaboration between Island Creek Oysters founder Skip Bennett, Lineage/Eastern Standard chef Jeremy Sewall, and Eastern Standard proprietor Garrett Harker.
