Raffles Makkah Palace is located in the new Abraj Al Bait complex, a seven-level tower community directly adjoining the Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba. The hotel is located only steps away from the Holy Mosque.

The design of the hotel draws inspiration from the heritage and culture of the Middle East, while keeping with Raffles’ style of sense of its destination. A four-storey mall named ‘coffee sommelier’ is featured in the basement. Dining options are: Creamery ice cream parlour; the Narjes tea salon; Middle Eastern restaurant Al Majilis; and a fusion restaurant named Al Qasr.

The new hotel is Raffles’ second property in the Middle East, following the opening of its Dubai property in 2007.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is owned by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, a global hotel company with 98 hotels and resorts worldwide under the Raffles, Fairmont and Swissôtel brands.
