The renovation and expansion project, which was carried out as part of the mall’s strategic plan, has been completed in time for the Christmas shopping season. Ceiling work, expansion of skylights, and new flooring are a few of the major works undertaken.
The food court has received a major makeover with new design and seating. The skylight has been changed into an oval shape, with the floor and tables reflecting the oval. The new Regent Mall logo also reflects the oval. The food court now features more seats and a variety of seating options including a banquet-style table with high stools. The first Taco Bell in Fredericton is now open in the food court.
A washroom has been added near the food court in response to requests from customers for a more convenient location for those facilities.
Regent Mall is owned by Cadillac Fairview, a Canada-based real estate office and retail property manager with ownership in shopping centre/malls across Canada and the US.
