The renovation has added various new components to the Pop Keeney Stadium such as 503 parking stalls, storm drainage and detention facilities, external landscaping and shielded lighting fixtures, two locker room buildings, and bleachers on the visiting side with an overhead cover. The stadium also features additional restroom facilities, in addition to a covered concessions facility, two formal ticket booths, and landscaping along NE 188th Street.
The new stadium has been expanded to hold a maximum capacity of 4,800 people. The stadium renovation was part of a $149.2 million capital project bond for various district-wide projects. Pop Keeney Stadium is home to athletic events hosted by Northshore’s high schools, Bothell, Inglemoor, and Woodinville, and junior highs, as well as numerous community activities and youth sporting events.
Located in downtown Bothell, the complex includes a lighted turf football/soccer stadium with a capacity of 4,500, a grass soccer field, and a baseball diamond with stands. In addition to hosting state football playoffs games, Pop Keeney has also hosted state soccer playoffs for both boys and girls.
