The $500,000 improvement project has started and it includes new floor treatments, carpeting and architectural and theatrical lighting to replace the chandeliers and acoustic and visual improvements. The walls and ceilings of the lobby will also be improved along with new floor treatments and carpeting. The men’s restroom on the first floor will be renovated and will feature improved accessibility and ultra low flow fixtures. The other improvement at the lobby include new stainless steel cable railings and eight to 12 new plasma televisions. The televisions will be used to show performances and events from the theater as well as for organizational messaging.
The project is expected to be completed by late August, 2010 and the Center will remain open during the renovation.
