Located at 2913 Spooky Nook Road, Manheim, the new sports facility is the transformation of the former Armstrong warehouse and is said to be the largest indoor sports complex.
Consisting of a 14 acre family fun facility and five acres of surrounding grounds, the complex will feature outdoor fields. At the mezzanine level, the spectator can get a bird’s eye view of everything taking place from one vantage point; arcade, climbing, basketball, baseball/softball and tennis.
The complex also features a new fitness center complete with group exercise classes and personal trainers and a high performance training area for athletes.
Spooky Nook Sports also features more than 30 courts and fields for everything from field hockey to volleyball to fustal. Spooky Nook will also be the home of the USA Women’s Field Hockey team.
In addition to sports, Spooky Nook also features 10,500 square feet of enclosed convention and banquet space and food and shopping options.
Construction on the complex started in 2011 and it is scheduled to open for the public on 3 June 2013.
