The new property is Aloft brand’s second Jacksonville property, with the first Aloft making its Jacksonville debut in 2009 with Aloft Jacksonville Airport.
Besides 137 loft-inspired rooms, Aloft Jacksonville Tapestry Park is distinct for urban-influenced, modern, open, and vibrant design. The hotel has been designed as an exclusive addition to Tapestry Park’s European-inspired streetscapes. The property features unique Aloft elements such as the dynamic re:mix lounge, a playful place to work or relax, and the w xyz bar.
The guest rooms are unique with urban-influenced design rules. An ultra-comfortable plush platform bed is placed as the centrepiece of each guest room. Loft-like nine-feet ceilings and oversized windows helps in making the interiors bright and airy. Spacious stylish bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers featuring rainfall showerheads and signature bath amenities by Bliss Spa.
The property has been designed by integrating eco-friendly features and targets to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)-Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). This is expected to be a significant addition to Starwood’s portfolio of 10 LEED-certified properties, including two Aloft properties.
New York-based hotel and leisure company Starwood Hotels & Resorts has internationally renowned brands in its kitty, including St Regis, the Luxury Collection, W, Westin, Le Méridien, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, and the recently launched Aloft and Element.
