The Aloft Chapel Hill marks the 40th Aloft hotel worldwide. The new Aloft property is designed to feature 130 spacious loft-like rooms, 1,600 square feet of meeting space, accessible technology and a social atmosphere.
Positioned in close proximity to the University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill, the loft-inspired design of the hotel features ‘re:mix lounge’ and ‘wxyz bar’ designed to appeal to both sophisticated travelers and area professionals. The rooms feature comfortable signature bed, an oversized showerhead and custom amenities by Bliss Spa. Natural light illuminates the walk-in shower through a full-length frosted glass panel that faces the guest room offering a free flow of light. It also ensures privacy.
The always-available in-room ‘office’ includes an ergonomic workspace and complimentary wired and wireless high speed Internet access.
The new Aloft Chapel Hill is the second Aloft hotel within the Inland American Lodging Corporation’s portfolio. New York-based hotel and leisure company Starwood Hotels & Resorts has international brands in its portfolio, including St Regis, the Luxury Collection, W, Westin, Le Méridien, Sheraton, Four Points by Sheraton, and the recently launched Aloft and Element.
Inland American Lodging Corporation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inland American Real Estate Trust, focused on the acquisition and asset management of strategic lodging assets.
