The EAU Soaking Tub is an ofuro or Japanese style soaking tub and is made of one piece of hand-crafted Carrara Marble. The tub features an ergonomically designed bench which has been carved into the stone at a depth of 20 inches to help immerse the entire body. Further, the tub incorporates insulating properties to retain water temperatures for a longer time.
Ofura soaking tubs are typically composed of woods like hinoki, cedar and teak. The ofura has been used by Japan for centuries to provide relaxation and soaking. The EAU by Stone Forest features a contemporary look which adds to the aesthetics and is presently available as a made-to-order piece.
