The Old World Bathtub, which has derived inspiration from ancient Roman baths is carved from a solid block of marble and features unique natural colors and veining of the distinctive stone. The Papiro Cream tub weighs about 1500 pounds – holding up to 500 pounds of water and when filled, can submerge the bather in about 17 inches of water.
Inspired by classic italian design, Stone Forest’s Veneto Pedestal Sinks, which are barrel-shaped vessels, are carved from single blocks of multi-color onyx. Each sculpture includes a cavity in the back that can accommodate a light source to enhance the luminosity of these tubs.
The Onyx Wabi Vessel has been carved from small boulders of rare purple and green onyx.
The use of stone adds a new look to this bathroom faucet. The tub features varied patterns created by the use of colors in each piece of stone. No two pieces are ever alike. They are also hand-carved by using a hammer and a chisel.
