The 9,000-seat University Stadium, the new home to Wolves football, debuted with a large Daktronics LED video display measuring approximately 13 feet high by 22 feet wide. The video board can operate as one display showing a single large image or be divided into multiple zones to show a wide variety of statistics, information, graphics, animations and live and recorded video.

Daktronics also provided an LED football scoreboard below the video screen. Measuring 36 feet wide, the dependable scoreboard comes complete with bright LED digits and programmable team name displays. This display provides fans with in-game information, out-of-town scores, promotional messages and crowd prompts that create an interactive experience.

The stadium is the centerpiece of UWG’s new $29 million Athletics Complex. The facility features sites for women’s soccer, a women’s varsity softball field, a women’s field house and additional practice fields for soccer and football. There are additional areas for locker rooms, weight and training rooms, and offices for the Department of Athletics.

Sponsors of UWG athletics also have creative opportunities to get their messages across through motion graphics and other eye-catching content.

Daktronics recently installed a state-of-the-art four-sided centerhung display to The Coliseum, home to Wolves basketball. Daktronics will also provide new scoring displays to UWG’s soccer and softball facilities in the near future.

Daktronics is South Dakota-based supplier of large format electronic display systems.
