Work will include remodelling of its food court which will be equipped with new lighting, furniture like soft seating and décor. Other parts of the revamped mall will feature soft seating too and will comprise hands-free doors. The building’s entrances will feature new lighting and will be adorned with natural stone and landscaping post renovation work. The project will also include addition of a family restroom on the lower level. A nursing station will be added to the facility after the overhaul.
There will be new flooring across the entire mall after the facelift. It will also be fitted with new directional signs and new exterior signs. Other renovation works to be carried out include creation of new landscaping and new retail merchandising wings in the common area as well as makeover of the The Limited store.
The upgraded facility will sport warm colors, textures and will feature wood and stone materials. In addition, a Third Age Living Centre will be added through St. John’s Hospital which will conduct exercise, educational and social programmes.
The project is presently in the design phase. Work is expected to begin by August 2011.
