Spanning three months, the renovation project involved enhancement of course and landscape of the golf courses as well as new cart fleets. All the three golf courses, including The Palmer, The Player and The Tournament were upgraded.
The Tournament golf course received the maximum upgrade and now features new greens, cart paths and landscape upgrades. The course’s greens, which previously used Champion Bermuda has been replaced with Mini Verde Ultra Dwarf Bermuda. The renovation was completed before the commencement of the 2013 Champion’s Tour event.
The Woodland’s Tournament course hosts the Champions Tour’s annual Insperity Championship. It also hosted the Greats of Golf Competition in April 2012.
The renovation project was managed by Sequoia Golf’s Greenscapes division, the company’s specialised team of designers and construction managers.
