This $12.5 million project has given a new look to the dining commons. The dining areas of the Kennedy Commons have received completely remodeled interiors, additional seating, improved serving lines as well as better food menu. The renovated dining area of the university features completely reconfigured kitchen areas and counter.

The old building now has a new entrance. The project has changed the lights of the facility with new, energy efficient lighting. The renovated facility has been granted LEED certification owing to the incorporation of certain sustainable elements, such as eco-friendly design of the building, green construction practices and green operation and maintenance solutions. The building’s newest addition is 12th Avenue Bread Company, a new retail unit.

The improved seating arrangements include indoor tables and booths, outdoor seating arrangements. The seating are done in ivory, persimmon and olive color with bamboo trim work.
