The two hotels will be rebranded following the facelift. The interior of the Park Plaza Histria Pula hotel has been redesigned by London-based firm Scott Brownrigg. The facility will house a total of 241 rooms. There will be a new reception and lobby space, and modern spacious guestrooms. The building will also consist of a conference centre fitted with a pair of advanced boardrooms. Among the other features of the hotel include a new restaurant, an indoor pool, sauna and treatment rooms. Further, the outside space of the hotel will feature a new landscaping with overhaul of its Yacht Club, beach zone and the parking lot.
Studio 92 and Studio Kaic styled the refurbishments at Park Plaza Verudela Pula. Work involves facelift of its 385 apartments, reception zone and main restaurant. The fcaility’s outdoor swimming pool, kids club, shopping zone, parking space as well as landscaping will also be revamped as part of the project.
The facilities are due to reopen by May 2012.
