The 6700 square foot restaurant at La Palmera is the first joint of the company to win a LEED certification. The company associated itself with Shawmut Design & Construction and Aria Groups Architects for the Bistro project to make it compliant with LEED standards.

The contractors used recycled materials and employed techniques that brought about efficiencies in the consumption of water and energy. The bistro has entered into two-year contract for using renewable source of electricity to meet half of its energy requirements.

P.F. Chang’s took the assistance of GBCI for determining the level of LEED certification.
