Porsche Design Kitchen starting at INR10 million ($215,448 approx) is branded as the “kitchen for men” thanks to the design it carries for the growing number of chefs and cooks. It is also referred to as the world’s first co-branded kitchen. The new design was unveiled at the Poggenpohl Studio in Bangalore, Southern city of India.

Porsche Design Kitchen includes touch control appliances, mechanical touch latch for all doors & drawers, and built-in appliances including a plug-and-play TV and coffeemaker.

Aluminum profiles of varying sizes constitute the basic framework. This enables customers to position cabinet elements in a virtually unlimited number of configurations. The kitchen also features inventive use of glass, integrated, multi-functional lighting, a choice of wood veneer front cabinet surfaces and a choice of satin-finished glass or black granite worktops.

The kitchen is also equipped with a high-tech audio-video system. The electronics of the built-in LCD module are installed behind glass. The Poggenpohl Porsche Design Kitchen also features +Motion Drive, a new ‘handle less’ design technology. This enables ease of opening and closing drawers. The electronic open mechanism is activated by a simple push of the finger in the center of the drawer. The electric appliances are operated via sensor keys, instead of buttons and feature user-friendly dialogue displays.

Poggenpohl is recognized as the oldest kitchen brand in the world and one of the leading international brand names in kitchen design, known in more than 70 countries worldwide.
