The new store is the fifth Starbucks store at the airport, and is located at Concourse C. The design of the store is inspired by Portland’s historic industrial river-shipping and air-travel eras.
Portland-specific elements at the store include a vertical tower constructed of hot rolled steel and exposed fasteners, which is inspired from coffee and tea shipping containers of yesteryears. Reclaimed Douglas fir and tile from a local Portland tile manufacturer is also featured throughout the interior.
Various standard and USB power outlets have been installed throughout the seating areas inside the store which enable guests to plug in while enjoying their brew.
