The Zenith differs from other Skyfold moveable walls in that instead of descending as concertinaed panels, it slides automatically into place as almost entirely flat, vertical panels. With such a thin path of travel, a Skyfold Zenith can be lowered into the tightest of floor spaces, making it ideal for sub-dividing rooms full of fixtures, fittings, furniture or other objects.
"Skyfold really is the gold standard of modern partitioning systems," confirms Julian Sargent, Style’s group managing director. "Maximising facilities, it takes up zero floor space when not in use and being so fast and simple to operate, a room can realistically be divided many times a day.
With the new Zenith 51 and Zenith NRC, architects, contractors and end-users can specify a system that exactly matches their partitioning requirements for acoustic privacy and sound absorption.
"We have been the exclusive UK Skyfold partners since 2004 and, as the unique benefits of this system have become more widely understood, demand has literally soared," comments Sargent. "It took nearly ten years to install the first 100 Skyfold units but in just four short years we will have installed another 150!"
Skyfold moveable walls can be combined with more conventional sliding partitioning system to deliver unprecedented levels of adaptability to space within the commercial sector, the leisure industry, schools and public buildings.
