To kick off its anniversary year, Amtico has a roster of celebrations and activities planned throughout 2024. The festivities started with a simultaneous cake cutting across its four UK sites (Coventry, Solihull, Pilot Park and the London studio) as well as its new office and studio in Düsseldorf’s Media Harbour in Germany. Employees from all departments gathered to sing happy birthday and enjoy a slice of cake while recognising the hard work of everyone at the company – including Amtico’s longest-serving employee, Maintenance Engineer David Quinn, who celebrated his 47th anniversary.
“We're thrilled to be celebrating this significant milestone in our brand's history,” said Amtico CEO Jonathan Duck. “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and valued retailers who have been instrumental in our success over the years. Their unwavering support and trust have been crucial in the company's growth and achievements. Throughout our journey, we have strived to deliver exceptional products and world-class service, always keeping our customers' needs at the forefront.

We have overcome challenges, adapted to changing market dynamics, and embraced new trends and technologies to stay ahead in a competitive landscape. Looking to the future, we remain committed to delivering high-quality, design-led flooring as we continue to be a trusted brand that our customers can rely on. Here's to the next 60 years of success, design, innovation, and making a positive impact in the lives of our customers."

Amtico is a pillar of the local community and in 2023 alone, the company fundraised or provided volunteers for over 10 local organisations, including Heart of England Forest, Myton Hospice and the ‘Make Good Grow’ foundation. To further support important causes, colleagues at Amtico voted for not one but two charities in 2024 as part of its ‘Charity of the Year’ initiative. Throughout the year, the company will continue its partnership with Birmingham’s Children's Hospital for a second consecutive year and introduce the Alzheimer’s Society to the fundraising efforts.

The Coventry-based manufacturer, which recently won a second award for Amtico Bio – its first bio-attributed LVT option, will also host a series of activities throughout the year to celebrate the 60th anniversary. These include behind-the-scenes factory tours, company shutdown days to reward employees in all departments, as well as flooring makeovers at its Coventry and Solihull locations inspired by six decades of manufacturing design-led LVT.
