The 2016 Chamberlain & Co Collection

At Maison & Objet we are delighted to unveil the Spetchley Vase, new to the Heritage Garden collection. The shapes of this collection were created to echo pieces that can be seen in museums and great houses, whilst the inspiration for the floral surface design came from the historic Chamberlain pieces, it has been then fashioned to perfectly complement modern tastes and styles.

The George III collection will be exhibited for the first time in its entirety. The exquisite vignettes are highlighted by a turquoise colour ground, reflecting the era of the original Chamberlain works, known for the splendour and extravagance. Admire the floral displays on the magnificent Witley vase and elegant Broadway vase, and two new shapes; the Birlingham Box and the Comberton vase. The turquoise adds a certain dynamic to the colours found in the hand painted flowers within each vignette.

Robert Chamberlain was one of the first British manufacturers to produce Imari wares and it is only fitting that Chamberlain & Co’s collections should include an Imari-inspired design, Imperial Imari with a unique combination of colours which are timely for today’s audience.
