Premier Housewares, Celio Furniture, Lifestyle Europe, Gwinner and Michael Tyler are some of the latest big brands to join the all-star line-up of over 500 exhibitors.

With only a couple of weeks to go, the event – taking place at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) from Sunday 22 until Wednesday 25 January – is a must attend event for those in the industry. It gives visitors the first opportunity of the year to see the best in cabinet furniture, upholstery and beds to soft furnishings, flooring and decorative accessories.

The show will also see a partnership with the Society of British Interior Designers (SBID) to host a members areas in Hall 2. The dual registration with the Great Hospitality Show, taking place in Hall 9 (23-25 January), allows visitors to register once for both shows and there will be a free shuttle bus in between the halls.

Hall 5 will be the major destination hall offering its strongest line up of commercial big hitters for years. Hall 4 boasts leading UK and international cabinet brands while Hall 3 will be the place to visit for furnishing accessories. Hall 2 will be the centre for top end international contemporary furniture, plus the return of The Flooring Showcase with companies such as Westex, Edel Telenzo, Victoria Carpets and Think Rugs. Hall 1 remains a destination hall for high-end exclusive ranges with the fabric pavilion once again, making an appearance – exhibitors such as Kobe, Swaffer and The Isle Mills will be showcasing their latest collections.

Alongside major brands Parker Knoll, Baker Furniture, Libra, Whitemeadow, Duresta, Willis & Gambier, Gallery Direct including Frank Hudson and Dreamworks, Westbridge, Alstons, Dar Lighting and ercol, here’s a preview into what’s at the show:

Legendary football and movie hard man, Vinnie Jones, will be on the Crown Floors stand where he is proving he has a softer side. He is launching the Deacon Jones range. Partnering with flooring expert, Danny Deacon, to create the Deacon Jones brand, the pair have hand-picked eight exclusive Crown Floors carpet styles.

A new sign up for 2017 is Ekornes – one of the largest furniture manufacturers in the Nordic region. This will be the first time it has exhibited at the show since 2009 and it is looking forward to exhibiting its Stressless range of swivel and recliner chairs and sofas.

Leading producer of foam mattresses and pillows, Mlily, has recently announced a world exclusive deal with Manchester United to be its first official mattress and pillow partner. The five-year deal will see Mlily support the club in focusing on the sleep and recovery of its players. It will be showcasing its latest ranges, and will host a special guest from Manchester United on the stand.
