The Ampersand, a 111-bedroom luxury boutique hotel in the heart of London, was recently the subject of a painstaking and intricate refurbishment. Dexter Moren worked with Crosswater to design bespoke brassware solutions. This included bespoke tap spouts and engraved shower plates to make it simple for guests to operate the luxury showers. Dexter Moren chose fittings from the vast Mike Pro range, which also benefits from WRAS compliance, ensuring speedy sign off by the water undertaker. Whilst Mike Pro is usually fitted in ultra-modern apartment projects, the collection proved itself to be equally at home in the Art Deco theme throughout the bathrooms.

Crosswater Spec Book
Crosswater have produced the essential bathroom specification guide, showcasing their most popular products from across their eight brochures. Helpfully categorised into product type rather than brand, this handy specification guide includes priceless information for the designer including dimensions, flow rates and regulation compliance to name a few; all accompanied by stunning images of Crosswater’s show stopping brassware, furniture and shower enclosures.
Not only does the book present Crosswater’s pioneering products; the insightful introduction begins with Crosswater’s meteoric rise to become one of the UK’s largest bathroom companies. Also included are examples of prestigious residential and hotel projects that the Crosswater Contracts team has worked on in both the UK and overseas. The introduction then goes on to feature Crosswater’s new 94,000 square foot warehouse and their 10,000 square foot "Gallery" showroom, which has been described as the finest bathroom showroom in the UK, if not Europe.
Compliance with the Water Regulations is a major issue for large-scale projects and so the Spec Book features products with approvals from known bodies such as WRAS and KIWA, making specifying compliant products easier for the designer. The spec book then moves on to stunning product photography and a plethora of product detail which every architect, interior designer and specifier will be reaching for on all their future projects.
