The company has appointed Robert Workman, who has worked in the construction industry for nearly 40 years, as Specification Sales Manager for London and the South East.

In his new role, Robert will draw on his extensive experience to provide specification sales and technical support to architects and specifiers across all GEZE’s range of automatic and manual door and window technology ranges. He will also be responsible for generating new business, and delivering both product training and the company’s popular RIBA-approved CPD Seminars.

Over the years, Robert has worked on numerous high profile projects; his first was for the British Library in London, while more recently, he has worked on the new O2 headquarters and several schemes for Network Rail.

Speaking about his appointment, Robert said: "It is not every day that an opportunity arises to join a family run, market leading company, especially one that is based upon excellent service to their customers. GEZE’s reputation in the industry is second to none and the decision to join them as Specification Sales Manager was an easy choice.

"My goal is to draw on my understanding of the whole construction industry as well as the automated door and window sector to develop relationships with key specifiers and provide innovative solutions to our clients. There is a great team spirt within the company and I’m sure that working together we can deliver the company’s plans for securing growth in the coming years."

Andy Howland, sales director of GEZE UK added: "Robert brings a wealth of knowledge to this role which is already benefiting our clients because he understands how door and window technology fits into wider projects and can recommend the right products accordingly. I’m certain that he will prove to be a valuable asset to the specification sales team."
